- Plate to be welded to 2 or 3 steel support brackets which are to extend back to the 3/4" supporting rods.
- Brackets to be punched with elongated holes to allow steel face to "float" upon impact.

- Ratchet Bar Not Included
- A brake band hold-down for a mechanical dock leveler includes a frictional brake that grabs the hold-down when the ramp is at the proper elevation.
- If additional upward force (this can happen when trailers move up and down when trucks are loaded or unloaded) is applied to the ramp the frictional brake will give way just enough to accommodate the change.
- This prevents the dock leveler ramp from being damaged.
